I just remember something. I found this picture of Tazmania devil polaroid long time ago and it was reaaall cuteeee. But that time I wasn’t interested in instant camera. Now I’m kind of addicted to it, I really really want to buy this camera. It’s freakingg cute! :D
This is how it looks when it’s closed
And this is how it looks when you open it ;)
Soooo cuteeee. The lens is inside the mouth and the film will come out from under the mouth.
By the way I tried searching it in eBay but unfortunately it’s only available in US and UK :( but but, the starting bid is really low in auction, like $20 or something. When I have a credit card I’ll surely buy one hihi ;)
The Chronicles of Narnia
0I just finished my works today and still have an hour to go before I hit the bed. So I decided to just write up my mind :)
Anyway, I just downloaded the whole Chronicles of Narnia soundtrack – yep, the whole soundtracks from the 3 movies. Took me a day and more than 1gb space to download everything. Apparently the whole album consists of alternate of this song and alternate of that song. And this led me to watch the movies again :)
I know the movies aren’t as epic as Star Wars or the Lord of the Rings, but somehow it leaves a staggering effect after watching it. The whole chronicles (if you read the book), really depicts as if the land and the story exist. You know, the kind of movie in which you search every information in Wikipedia after you watch it. Narnia is that kind of movie.
And moreover it’s the composer. Truthfully after seeing the first movie in 2005, the score caught my ears – which rarely happens. And surprisingly the composer, Harry Gregson-Williams, is the apprentice of my all time favourite composer, Hans Zimmer. I know I’m not a musical person and I don’t know much about composing, but I gotta say these two composers have produced brilliant and eargasm scores. Even I think they surpassed John Williams, a multiple Oscar winner composer who is well-known in composing Star Wars, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, etc. But Gregson-Williams and Zimmer work are different. The music itself speaks the movie. They make the movie alive and real. Some of the scores make me have goose bumps every time I listen to them.
Anyway, back to Narnia. I do hope the movie continues until the whole chronicles complete. Though the third movie is rather disappointing. Probably because it’s not from Disney anymore :/ The aura is kind of different than the first two. But it’s a waste not to complete the whole things though, just like Eragon.
Nuff said :D
Science
0Saturday, September 8, 2012 by Adinda Medina
I like nature. I love mother earth. I like to feel the breeze while I’m walking down the campus. I like to admire the branches on the trees and how the sun ray penetrates onto the leaves and forming beautiful shadows. I like to see how the crawling ants move in such a neat composition.
I love to see how waves sway synchronously in the ocean.
How thunder is terrifying but yet beautiful
How whales sing to its kinds with frequency we don’t get
How a despairing rain can create a delightful rainbow
Everything just makes sense. All science has its own significance incomparable to others. No science is better than the other. And no science can live without the involvement of others.
I believe by learning from nature we can learn that there is much more than just us. We learn how somehow animals are no different than us, human. Or somehow we are no different than animals. We’ll learn how to not being selfish, learn how to share, how to cooperate, how to look after each other and most importantly, how to love. Just by seeing a cat licking its kitten we know how she loves her kid. Without saying a word we smile. Love is that simple.
I believe whatever nature has to offer brings a message. A message that could only be understood by someone who uses the brain.
So far this is what I can express and write about science. Everything is just from observation and imagination. I wish I could travel and see the world. Change my perspective, be involved in so many things. So far all I can do is hope.
Well at least a slightest hope is still better than nothing at all.
peace, love, respect
