My iPersonic Type

0

Saturday, January 28, 2012 by

So i found this website from random browsing. It's called "iPersonic". It's a psychology test to determine what kind of person are you. But I guess the test wasn't so specific, it just described myself in broad term. But it's still interesting. So here's my result :D

Dreamy Idealists like you are very cautious and therefore often appear shy and reserved to others. You share your rich emotional life and your passionate convictions with very few people. But one would be very much mistaken to judge you to be cool and reserved. You have a pronounced inner system of values and clear, honourable principles for which you are willing to sacrifice a great deal. Joan of Arc or Sir Galahad would have been good examples of your personality type. Dreamy Idealists are always at great pains to improve the world. You can be very considerate towards others and do a lot to support them and stand up for them. You are interested in your fellow beings, attentive and generous towards them. Once your enthusiasm for an issue or person is aroused, you can become a tireless fighter.

For Dreamy Idealists, practical things are not really so important. You only busy yourself with mundane everyday demands when absolutely necessary. You tend to live according to the motto “the genius controls the chaos” - which is normally the case so that you often have a very successful academic career. You are less interested in details; you prefer to look at something as a whole. This means that you still have a good overview even when things start to become hectic. However, as a result, it can occasionally happen that you overlook something important. As you are very peace-loving, you tend not to openly show your dissatisfaction or annoyance but to bottle it up. Assertiveness is not one of your strong points; you hate conflicts and competition. Dreamy Idealists prefer to motivate others with their amicable and enthusiastic nature. Whoever has you as superior will never have to complain about not being given enough praise.

As a Dreamy Idealist you are one of the introverted personality types. Therefore you prefer a quiet work environment where you can intensively deal with your responsibilities and are not disturbed by too many people and repeated distractions. You need a lot of time to dwell on your thoughts, to put them into words, and let your ideas take shape. You are grateful for a certain measure of order and structure because they secure the time to achieve this so you can deal with one task after the other and not have to juggle a number of responsibilities at once - you don’t like that because it is important to you to deal with things thoroughly. Your capability to concentrate is unusually great and very often you become engrossed in something and forget everything around you - even to eat and drink.

Nevertheless, because you are very adaptable, congenial and interested in harmony and cooperation, you enjoy working together with others. A neighborhood that requires the ability to assert yourself and where direct confrontations are the order of the day is not your optimal environment. In order to permit you to fully develop your ability you need an environment that is as stress free as possible. If you can’t get that you soon suffer, because you take critique and negative feedback very personally.

You enjoy the opportunity for exchanges with other people you value and whose capabilities you respect but in this case remember the motto: Better less than more; better a few “hand picked” colleagues who truly move on your wavelength. It is best when you share the same high ideals and important objectives and together can fight for the same good cause because then you are truly in your element. If that is not the case, you do better by largely working by yourself because you belong to the personality types who can do that very well and don’t necessarily have to depend on others in order to come up with good results.

Just a normal day

I don't know where the dots connect, but I just caught a cold from chocolate. It started a couple of days ago when I ate (a bit too much) chocolate and I got a sore throat the day after. It got worse today, I got flu and cough, and what made it worst was that I was fasting today.

By the way I watched Sherlock Holmes 2 (Games of Shadow) with Ega. To be honest I only had a vague idea of what the movie was about. Too much dialogue and analysis, obviously critical thinking was required to watch that kind of movie. But I shall give two thumbs up for the camera effect, lighting, directing and sound effect.

7.30pm: It was time for break fasting! I ordered Chatime's "hot" fairy vanilla latte which the guy misheard as "cold" so I had to wait a little longer with my fever getting worse. The latte sucked, it was bitter and even though I put extra sugar it didn't make it good-sweeter, it only made my throat worse. Starbucks still has the best recipe after all. Well at least for me.

My brother was wearing Monash jumper I gave him as birthday present. One guy in the elevator asked whether he was studying in Monash. Well he said I was the one in Monash. He asked me which campus I was and I said Clayton Campus. Troll. Sorry I was lying dude, I'm from Sunway Campus :p

p.s: It's Ihsan birthday today! Happy birthday saann! Wish you all the best and have another great trip year ahead :D

Welcome to Universal Studio Singapore

Well, I never imagined to have travelled abroad without my parents at this age but, here I am!

This is my travel journal to Universal Studio Singapore :) and also some information about USS

I went there with Iqbal, tya and ihsan. I’ve planned this holiday since last semester and it was worth it.

We took a midnight train from KL sentral at 11 pm. it was a horrible journey. We took the bedding coach thought we could sleep during travel but apparently it was a bad idea. The train was so fast, the beds were shaking hard and trembling. Outside was dark we couldn’t see where we were going. It felt like we could bump and crash at any second.

we arrived in johor 6.30am the next day. outside was raining light I was afraid it might stay up the whole day. so we hurried to the singapore immigration by bus. Oh I forgot, it was monday morning. everybody was rushing in immigration to work, the bus was full each time. it was hard enough for us dragging our luggage during rain and now we gotta break through this crowd.

Tips : People in Singaopore are always busy, even escalator and subway train are faster in this country than anywhere I’ve found. well I don’t know the ones in NY though ;p

We were staying in a backpacker inn called “THE HIVE” in serangoon road. The place was clean, perfect for us. It’s close to the MRT station Boon Keng so it’s easy for us to travel around the city. We took twin room which cost S$50/room/night. they also provide a ward which can accommodate up to 16 persons.

We went to Universal Studio the next day. thank God the weather was friendly, not so sunny but not so cloudy either. we took a train from our closest station to Harbour Front which is at the end of The Purple Line.

it was almost christmas, so wherever we went, everywhere was filled with christmas trees, red bells, fake snowflakes, christmas lights, mistletoes. I’m glad I came during christmas, the aura felt so peaceful and happy, just like when I came to hong kong disneyland during christmas 6 yeat ars ago. though I’m not celebrating christmas.

anyway, we arrived at noon and the park looked half-full from afar. and here’s a tip

Tips : The ticket price is S$68 on normal days and S$74 on peak season. Christmas holiday is a peak season from mid November until end of the year. the express pass is usable for all attraction but once. meaning you can cut the line and ride the attraction without a long wait. it’s useful for peak season so make sure to check the date before buying the express pass. you don’t want to buy it when it’s not crowded. it’s a total waste.

the universal big ball is located outside the park, so we could take picture without actually get in there. which means people who take picture with that big ball don’t always mean they’ve been inside universal studio :P unless you take pictures with universal studios “store” which is inside the park ;P

Tips : the USS opens from 10am – 7pm on weekdays and 10am – 9pm during weekends and peak season. It’s best to come before the gate opens if you don’t want to miss taking pictures with the characters.Picnik collage

there are 7 parks there, madagascar, far far away (shrek), ancient egypt (the mummy), sci-fi city, hollywood, new york and the lost world. the park is like a circle and I went clockwise from new york to madagascar and hollywood last. I won’t brag much about the attraction since it’s gonna be long and boring, so here’s the tip:

Tips: There are not-to-be-missed attractions here if you’re looking for some thrill. There’s “Revenge of the Mummy” in ancient Egypt, “Human” and “Cylon” of Battlestar Galactica in Sci-fi City and "”Transformers the Ride” in Sci-Fi City

after we were done we decided to go pray after a tiring day.

tips: the muslim prayer room is located between “battlestar galactica” and “the return of mummy” just behind the locker spot. it’s always crowded so I think there isn’t a perfect time for praying. just don’t forget to pray :)

by the end of the day we took a rest and sat on a "New York Public Library” grand staircase under a christmas tree. it was around 6pm when everybody started going out of the park. it was one of the best feeling when you just finished doing something really fun with your closest friends, you just wanted to sit back, enjoy the view and talked about the day.

I tried to take self group pictures with my polaroid but we ended up being silly. some films got burned, some are too close, some were just black out. in the end we gave up and ask someone to take a picture of us.

but in the end, it was a quite journey and I’m really glad to have done it. Thank you guys :) hope we’ll meet again for another adventure :)

Random Kindness

Today I was soo hungry and decided to go to pyramid with Tya and have subway and okonomiyaki. Couldn't decide I want chicken and cheese or prawn, I asked the guy whether it's okay to have both toppings. The guy said I couldn't since prawn is kinda pricey, so I sadly chose chicken and cheese. After paying and waiting for awhile I got my okonomiyaki. In the middle of eating I found a prawn inside my food. I thought the guy accidentally put it in but then I found several more prawns in it. Seems like the guy couldn't help seeing a hungry girl asking for two toppings and decide to put them. Though maybe he put "chicken and cheese" down on the log book and lied to the cashier guy. Random kindness of the day..

Stay optimist,

Medina

Konbanwa!

Beberapa hari ini gw sama tya lagi nge browse anime-anime lama jaman SD, gara-gara internet di LV super cepet bisa download apa aja, dimulai lah pencarian kita ke kartun-kartun jaman dulu. Kangenn banget deh kalo inget kartun-kartun jaman dulu, inget banget tiap hari minggu bela-belain bangun jam 6 buat nonton kartun sampe jam 12 siang. Dari Cardcaptor Sakura, Inuyasha, Doraemon, Digimon, Sailor Moon, UFO Baby, Dragon Ball, sampe Samurai X. huahh kangenn :)

Bermula dari rasa bosan gw yang menyerang tiba-tiba, akhirnya gw ngecek hard disk buat nyari-nyari film.gara – garanya waktu itu gw lagi bosen trus nge browse hard disk dan nemu satu anime judulnya Itazura Na Kiss, anime yang gw dapet dari Lutes. Itazura Na Kiss itu anime standar sii, tentang cewek dodol yang naksir cowok jenius. Ceweknya ngejar-ngejar cowoknya demi cinta, awalnya si cowok cuek tapi lama-lama.. yaa gitu lah ketawan banget ceritanya. Yang bikin gw suka ternyata ceritanya ga berhenti sampe si cewek ini jadian sama si cowoknya. Ceritanya berlanjut sampe mereka nikah dan punya anak. Unyu – unyu desu gitu..

Yang kedua Sailor Moon. Ini anime super jadul ternyata dari tahun 1992. Kalo ngeliat filmnya sekarang itu gambarnya masih kuno, badannya masih kecil-kecil. Tapi ceritanya mantap. Sampe kakak cowo gw sampe suka. Pas dicari animenya, ternyata total nya sampe 200 episode. Brrr  -__-  Gw download nya per 10 episode biar ga lama-lama. Gw suka sailor moon soalnya lucu-lucu kekuatannya. Kalo berubah ada yang kayak “moon prism power make up” lah, tongkatnya yang bentuk bulan bintang lah, istananya kinclong – kinclong semua. Plus itu aksesoris nya juga bersinar – sinar. Kalo baca komiknya berasa silau sendiri padahal itu komik item putih.

Picnik collage2

Yang ketiga dan yang paling gw suka itu Cardcaptor Sakuraa!! Ceritanya tentang anak SD yang bisa nyihir pake kartu Clow Card. Clow Card ini macem-macem sihirnya dan ada banyak. Kayak “The wind” yang bisa bikin angin, “The fly” bisa terbang, “The flower” yang bisa ngasih bunga, sampe ada “the sword”, “the shadow”, “the storm”, etc.

Picnik collage3

Kalo dipikir-pikir beruntung banget masa kecil gw dikelilingi kartun-kartun. Yaa mungkin ga semua tapi kebanyakan..

Kalo gw punya anak nanti gw suruh nonton disney channel pokoknya..

Sekian,

Medina :)
